Our commitment
Rip the Labels does not send unsolicited bulk email. We send email only to people who asked to hear from us, or to people we need to reach about an order they placed. We do not buy, rent, sell, or trade email lists.
How you join our list
You receive marketing email from us only when you take a clear action to request it, such as entering your email in a subscribe form on this site, requesting the complimentary keepsake, or asking to be notified when something becomes available. Every signup is recorded with the date and the place it came from.
Transactional email
Separately from marketing email, we send messages that relate directly to something you did: order receipts, shipping notifications, replies to a message you sent us, and account or sign-in emails. These are not marketing and are sent whether or not you subscribed.
What our email looks like
- The sender name and address identify Rip the Labels.
- Subject lines describe the actual contents honestly.
- No deceptive headers, forged routing information, or misleading reply addresses.
- Every marketing email includes a working unsubscribe link and our contact address.
Unsubscribing
You can leave the list at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or by writing to hello@ripthelabels.com. Unsubscribes are honored promptly and we keep a suppression record so the address is not added back by a later import. After you unsubscribe you may still receive necessary transactional email about an existing order.
No spam from you either
Our contact and subscribe forms are for genuine messages. Using them to send bulk solicitations, scraped submissions, or automated abuse is not permitted, and we use rate limiting and other protections to block it.
Reporting a problem
If you received email from us that you did not ask for, or you see email that claims to be from Rip the Labels and looks wrong, please forward it to hello@ripthelabels.com with the full headers if you can. We investigate every report and remove the address involved.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
